For almost 50, Esperanza has been the only domestic violence shelter in Santa Fe County. Esperanza’s trauma informed services include safe emergency shelter, a 24/7 crisis line, advocacy, counseling, substance abuse counseling, adult and child therapy, child life skills groups, parenting classes, community navigation, court advocacy, outreach/education and psycho educational groups for both survivors and offenders
The New Mexico Wildlife Center has been providing veterinary care and rehabilitation to New Mexico's native wildlife for over 35-years. NMWC’s hospital annually intakes approximately 1,000 wild animal patients representing over 120 species. Along with the hospital operation, the Center’s education programming brings unique New Mexico wildlife and conservation subjects to learners of all ages through live Animal Encounters on-site and off-site with presentations for schools, community events and the general public.

Since 1985, the Adaptive Sports Program New Mexico has offered therapeutic recreational activities to children and adults with disabilities. Today, ASPNM proudly offers a wide variety of adaptive sports year round, including skiing, snowboarding, watersports, river rafting, archery, rock climbing and more.
Programs are open to children and adults with disabilities at locations throughout New Mexico. Some programs are open to family members and caregivers. The mission of Charger Aquatics Santa Fe is to promote a life-long love of swimming in swimmers of all ages and abilities by providing a safe, healthy and positive environment for our athletes. Charger Aquatics Santa Fe is a USA-Swimming sanctioned club with enthusiastic kids and adults who love or want to learn to swim. While our club has been in existence since 2009 we merged with our parent club, Charger Aquatics, based in Albuquerque in 2021 which means that we are now able to offer all of the benefits of a local club but with 'big-club' opportunities. We are a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity.
We are the only swim team in Santa Fe to receive Safe Sport Recognized club status through @usaswimming, and we are committed to providing a healthy, and positive environment free from abuse for everyone on our team.
Our athletes compete in the NM State Championships and the Western Zone championships and Sectional meets. We also support swimmers training for high school and college swim teams, as well as adult 'Masters' swimmers. Our club hosts and competes in USA-Swimming sanctioned meets both in and outside the State of New Mexico.

It took a split second to recognize that many of these families had substance abuse problems, and then another second to recognize there may be mental health concerns. We provide help to people that are in need of one service or combination of all 3. We offer up to date mental health and substance abuse treatments.

Their mission is to create a safe, respectful environment that fosters hope, dignity, and pathways to stability. Founded in 1992, Kitchen Angels serves residents of Santa Fe and other Northern New Mexico communities who are home-bound, in a health crisis, lack the resources for regular meals, and are not eligible for other local meal services. Making sure those have enough to eat is simply the right thing to do.
Turquoise Trail Charter School (TTCS) is the state’s oldest charter school and is as diverse as Santa Fe itself. Students come from Rio Rancho, Las Vegas, Santa Fe and surrounding pueblos to attend one of the highest-achieving institutions. TTCS was voted “Best of Santa Fe 2023”, named a New Mexico “Spotlight” School, and was among the top 10% of schools in English Language acquisition in 2020. TTCS has rigorous academic standards serving students 3Y through 8th grade.

Rotary Club of Santa Fe Del Sur is one of three Rotary Clubs in Santa Fe. Chartered in 1985, the club sponsors various projects to benefit the local community as well as participating in international projects in the areas of health care, education, and child welfare. Our club sponsors and annual "Shoes for School" project at the beginning of each school year. This year the club provided vouchers for new pairs of shoes to 185 families in Santa Fe. We also assemble toiletry bags with personal hygiene products for the homeless. We donate over 200 of these bags each year to local homeless shelters.

History Communities In Schools of New Mexico’s work began in 1997, when retired educators Bill and Georgia Carson answered an appeal from a local elementary school principal. Working closely with members of the United Church of Santa Fe, the Carsons formed the nonprofit Salazar Partnership to provide resources and support to 2 high poverty elementary schools in Santa Fe.
In 2012, the Salazar Partnership became an affiliate of Communities In Schools, Inc. For more than 40 years, Communities In Schools has been helping students to succeed in school, graduate and go on to a brighter future.
Communities In Schools of New Mexico’s 18 Student Success Facilitators serve approximately 5,500 students and families through 14 Title One (high poverty) schools in New Mexico.

SFCC Foundation provides financial aid for students, funds for new program development, and support for additional resources to SFCC for needs not met through state and federal assistance. We provide students assistance to ensure their success in college, in their communities, and in their lives by removing financial barriers such as tuition, food, and emergencies. We also seek to support faculty initiatives to obtain equipment and enhanced facilities leading to student experiences beyond the curriculum.
