Every year we complete 6,500 free spay/neuter surgeries and 16,500 free vaccinations for at-risk pets. We also sponsor vaccine clinics in traditionally underserved neighborhoods. This community outreach effort builds relationships with pet owners, identifies the health of at-risk pets, and schedules surgeries for intact pets, preventing unwanted litters. Our goal is to reduce the number of unwanted animals at our shelter by creating a healthier community for pets, their families, and their neighbors.

The mission of Charger Aquatics Santa Fe is to promote a life-long love of swimming in swimmers of all ages and abilities by providing a safe, healthy and positive environment for our athletes. This will be achieved through a comprehensive training program that addresses the physical, mental, nutritional, and technical dimensions of the sport to support team and individual goals.

Charger Aquatics Santa Fe is a USA-Swimming sanctioned club with enthusiastic kids and adults who love or want to learn to swim. While our club has been in existence since 2009 we merged with our parent club, Charger Aquatics, based in Albuquerque in 2021 which means that we are now able to offer all of the benefits of a local club but with 'big-club' opportunities.  We are a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity.

We are the only swim team in Santa Fe to receive Safe Sport Recognized club status through @usaswimming, and we are committed to providing a healthy, and positive environment free from abuse for everyone on our team.

Our athletes compete in the NM State Championships and the Western Zone championships and Sectional meets. We also support swimmers training for high school and college swim teams, as well as adult 'Masters' swimmers. Our club hosts and competes in USA-Swimming sanctioned meets both in and outside the State of New Mexico.

At first, the intention was simply get homeless families back in their feet. It took a split second to recognize that many of these families had substance abuse problems, and then another second to recognize there may be mental health concerns. Those few seconds defined the direction of The Life Link. Our programs focus on housing , mental health, and substance abuse. We provide help to people that are in need of one service or combination of all 3. We offer up to date mental health and substance abuse treatments.

Mission
The mission of Communities In Schools of New Mexico is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

History
Communities In Schools of New Mexico’s work began in 1997, when retired educators Bill and Georgia Carson answered an appeal from a local elementary school principal. Working closely with members of the United Church of Santa Fe, the Carsons formed the nonprofit Salazar Partnership to provide resources and support to 2 high poverty elementary schools in Santa Fe.

In 2012, the Salazar Partnership became an affiliate of Communities In Schools, Inc. For more than 40 years, Communities In Schools has been helping students to succeed in school, graduate and go on to a brighter future.

Communities In Schools of New Mexico’s 18 Student Success Facilitators serve approximately 5,500 students and families through 14 Title One (high poverty) schools in New Mexico.

At United Way of Santa Fe County (UWSFC), we envision a community where all children succeed in school and life. By engaging the whole community, we can employ a two-generation approach, supporting both children and their families in a series of high-quality early childhood programs designed to prepare children to enter kindergarten ready to succeed.
