Every child has the right to learn how to read. Reading Quest provides free structured literacy tutoring & social emotional support for hundreds of striving readers. We also facilitate workshops and trainings based on the science of reading. The mission of Charger Aquatics Santa Fe is to promote a life-long love of swimming in swimmers of all ages and abilities by providing a safe, healthy and positive environment for our athletes. This will be achieved through a comprehensive training program that addresses the physical, mental, nutritional, and technical dimensions of the sport to support team and individual goals.
Charger Aquatics Santa Fe is a USA-Swimming sanctioned club with enthusiastic kids and adults who love or want to learn to swim. While our club has been in existence since 2009 we merged with our parent club, Charger Aquatics, based in Albuquerque in 2021 which means that we are now able to offer all of the benefits of a local club but with 'big-club' opportunities. We are a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity.
We are the only swim team in Santa Fe to receive Safe Sport Recognized club status through @usaswimming, and we are committed to providing a healthy, and positive environment free from abuse for everyone on our team.
Our athletes compete in the NM State Championships and the Western Zone championships and Sectional meets. We also support swimmers training for high school and college swim teams, as well as adult 'Masters' swimmers. Our club hosts and competes in USA-Swimming sanctioned meets both in and outside the State of New Mexico.
Rotary Club of Santa Fe Del Sur is one of three Rotary Clubs in Santa Fe. Our club sponsors and annual "Shoes for School" project at the beginning of each school year. This year the club provided vouchers for new pairs of shoes to 185 families in Santa Fe. We also assemble toiletry bags with personal hygiene products for the homeless. We donate over 200 of these bags each year to local homeless shelters.
